Beauty Meets Utility

Monique first discovered her love of clay while pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After graduating, she studied the history of the Decorative Arts at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum on Manhattan's upper east side before returning to the Philadelphia-suburbs of New Jersey where she had grown up. She works primarily in porcelain and stoneware but finds inspiration in all kinds of art, music, architecture, typography, and natural beauty. She aims to create pieces that are individual works of art: ornaments and decorative items special enough for holidays and gift-giving, alongside utilitarian pieces for your kitchen, hearth, and garden.
