Soft layers of colored porcelain form this tray, which is the perfect size to hold rings, glasses, and other small items on your bedside table. Glossy clear glaze accentuates the pale gray, charcoal, and contrasting bright yellow-green clay. The underside is glazed in a complementary transparent dark gray glaze.
The dish measures 8"l x 3.5"w x .75"h.
This trinket tray is formed using a process called Nerikomi, in which the porcelain is colored in batches, then laid in patterned canes. The canes are sliced to varying thicknesses, which allows more or less organic movement and shifting of the colors as they're formed into a slab and rolled out thinly.
